Implants

 Beyond personal appearance, tooth loss can have far-reaching effects on your dental health. When you lose one or more teeth, remaining teeth can drift out of position. This can lead to a change in the bite, loss of additional teeth, decay and gum disease.
 Dental implants are an effective way of replacing one or more teeth. Each implant consists of a metal anchor inserted into the jawbone and a protruding post, which is sheathed in an artificial tooth. Implants also can support a bridge, replace a partial denture or secure a fixed denture. The process of dental implants requires surgery and may take up to a year to complete.
