
Dr. Joshua Mondlick
Growing up in Upstate New York, Dr. Mondlick attended Union College in Schenectady, New York and the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He then furthered his education with an additional year of training in hospital, community, and special needs dentistry as well as trauma at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Mondlick then relocated to Phoenix, Arizona to practice general dentistry for three years in South Phoenix. He was selected to enroll in the prestigious Veterans Affairs Hospital / New York University combined program in periodontics in New York City. The program was a three-year, full-time residency with over 6000 hours focusing on periodontics and implant dentistry. Dr. Mondlick’s training in New York City was focused on both small and large inter-disciplinary treatment plans, staged serial extraction cases (transitioning patients from all teeth to all implants), soft (gum) and hard (bone) tissue corrective procedures, sinus grafting, control of periodontal disease and its effects, as well as dealing with severely medically compromised patients. Dr. Mondlick is affiliated with multiple professional organizations locally, nationally, and internationally including: the American Dental Association, Alpha Omega, the Arizona Dental Association, the Arizona Society of Periodontists, and the American Academy of Periodontology. He also teaches clinical periodontics part-time as an Assistant Professor at the Midwestern School of Dental Medicine, in Glendale, AZ, and volunteers at the Central Arizona Shelter Service’s free dental clinic in Phoenix, Arizona. In his free time, Dr. Mondlick enjoys taking advantage of the outdoor activities that Arizona offers as well as reading, movies, and photography.
